My Clothing: An Introduction

My clothing: An Introduction (Warning, may contain a ridiculous amount of mirror selfies)

I cannot describe my style in words so you get pictures
This includes my favorite sweater (as seen on Tate Langdon, American Horror Story) which was purchased at a thrift store, and some platform sneakers purchased (in 2011) also from a thrift store

This outfit includes a maroon neff beanie, a black turtleneck belonging to my grandmother, a plaid skirt found at a thrift store, and my beat up old saddle shoes that I've owned since the 5th grade

Worn here: a dress on sale from urban outfitters, some trouser socks from target, and those same saddle shoes.

Finally a bustier from forever 21, some combat boots, and the pants from an old suit.

Two Door Cinema Club @ The Hollywood Palladium

This is a story about a concert i went to (in September) and absolutely loved. I went to see Two Door Cinema Club at the Hollywood Palladium, pretty damn cool right. But anyways, lets start with the opening bands, St.Lucia and The Friends. St.Lucia is one of my all time favorites and to be honest, their records don't do them justice, way better live. Their whole set had this feel good vibe that was absolutely lovely! And their bass player was hot. Then came the second group, The Friends. Their overall performance was OK, i really enjoyed the instrumentals and the lead singer had a unique voice, but what won me over(and lost the rest of the crowd) was how fucking weird they were. These were the only stage dives of the night, their outfits were crazy, and we channeled our energy to call out aliens during the show. It was awesome.
Partying between the sets, getting toes stepped on

The Hollywood Palladium is a huge venue, and there were an overwhelming amount of people there, and everything is general admission, which i prefer in small venues because you can just sit down inbetween the sets, but this was full on sweating bumping into people which was pretty cool and uncomfortable at the same time. Except for the part where this really large girl jumped on my toe and broke it. fun. But this didn't stop anyone from enjoying the headlining band. Two Door Cinema Club has this really classy feel to it, they're like an actually good British "boy-band" but they don't have that super popular crap sound. Their energy was also really good and they had everyone in the crowd singing. The bands talent pleases me so much, and i loved hearing songs off their new record "Beacon" sung live, because they were a fresh sound. I don't mean to be like one of those annoying music junkies that's like "They sound so much better live.", but they really do sound so much better live, just wow! Overall a pretty great concert that made so many amazing memories. And a broken toe.

picture perfect

Welcome to My World.....

So this is my blog, let me say one thing, it isn't yours. Ive never really been a sociable person and i really should be studying for finals, but who cares? I mean really, if you like this then you like it but i wont shove it down your throats like a giant pill. Brainwash you to become my "fans" whatever that even means anymore.
Some of my favorite things include: music, writing angst-fueled poetry, watching skins or freaks and geeks, reading, trying to fix everything, trying to change people, acting up, acting down, whatever you like.

That's enough about me, who pray tell are you? are you a prissy little rich kid, a messed up rich kid, a cool kid, a real cool kid, a stoner, a slut, a twat, a nobody. Well don't be defined by my stereotypes, that's just how I see the world. How I see high school. But don't take me seriously, I might be crazy. I haven't been tested. Well this blog is about my life.
                                                                                                             -bye.
